The Role of a Chair

The TEC Chair is the facilitator, mentor and coach who leads TEC meetings. An independent contractor, the chair plays many key roles, including executive coach, confidante and mentor.

The successful TEC Chair is:

  • An engaged listener
  • A change agent
  • Highly influential
  • Willing to challenge assumptions and dig deeper
  • Committed to the success of others

The TEC Chair is the cornerstone of the TEC member experience. To ensure that our members receive the greatest possible value from their association with us, TEC strives to partner with only the highest-level candidates for TEC Chairs.

TEC Chairmanship requires:
